The new biopic about the legendary rock and roll superstar is hitting theaters on Friday, but when will it stream on demand?
Another of rock’s most legendary figures is getting a biopic. This time, Bruce Springsteen is getting the silver screen treatment in the movie “Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere,” which arrives in theaters in the United States on Friday, Oct. 24. The movie stars Jeremy Allen White as Springsteen, and if piques your interest, we’ll let you know when we think you’ll be able to stream the movie at home.
Key Details:
- Going platinum?: “Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere” is more popular with viewers than it is with critics.
- Dancin’ on the Disney: The film will stream on Disney+ and Hulu, distributed as it is by 20th Century Studios.
- See you next year: The streaming release of “Springsteen” could be timed to help it win awards.
Get Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ for just $16.99 a month ($14 savings).
“Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere” follows Springsteen through the creation of his sixth studio album, “Nebraska,” a deep exploration of the rocker’s own emotions. The movie delves into the societal influences and familial turbulence that led Springsteen through the process of compiling one of his most memorable works of all time.
The film has a compelling cast, with Jeremy Strong joining as Springsteen’s manager Jon Landau, Odessa Young as Faye Romano, Paul Walter Hauser as Mike Batlan, and Stephen Graham as Douglas Springsteen. The movie is currently sporting a 61% on Rotten Tomatoes from critics, but preview audiences have been kinder, giving the film an 85% score thus far.

When will ‘Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere’ stream?
Since “Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere” is being distributed by 20th Century Studios, it’s easy to determine where the film will stream when it leaves theaters. Hulu will get the movie, and it will also stream simultaneously on Disney+ following a period of exclusivity in theaters and premium video-on-demand (PVOD) platforms.
It probably won’t hit those platforms before the start of 2026, however. I think the movie will most likely follow a release pattern similar to the movie “A Complete Unknown,” which arrived on Hulu 92 days after its initial theatrical premiere. That biopic followed the life of Bob Dylan, and was distributed by Searchlight Pictures, a sibling studio of 20th Century.
I’ll officially predict that “Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere” will stream on Disney+ and Hulu on Friday, Jan. 23 — 91 days from its initial release. That would bring the film back to mind just in time for Oscar consideration season, and would give it a lengthy theatrical window as well.
