Attention, partners, and spouses of diehard football fans: you have just a few days left to enjoy the full attention of your loved one. Saturday, Aug. 31 is the official start of the college football season, and the NFL kicks off on Thursday, Sept. 5. For such fans, the wait can seem interminable and unending, especially now that it’s so close to being over. Thankfully for them, and for readers who care nothing for football and just want to watch something new and interesting, I’m still here with my weekly list of new TV shows and movies debuting on streaming services every day.

‘No Gain No Love’ Series Premiere | Prime Video
When it comes to family, love, or work, Son Hae-yeong has encountered loss after loss. In order to change her luck, Hae-yeong ends up seeking a fake wedding with her neighborhood convenience store employee Kim Ji-uk. She thinks she’s guaranteed herself a big promotion by saying “I do,” but she has no idea what she’s gotten herself into!
Kim Ji-uk is well-known around the neighborhood for always being willing to lend a hand, so when Son Hae-yeong approaches him he’s willing to play the part of her groom. But he too is soon way over his head in the charade, and soon he starts to wonder if this fake marriage could lead to something much more real.

Everyone’s favorite amateur investigators and budding podcast stars are back! Charles Haden Savage (Steve Martin), Oliver Putnam (Martin Short), and Mabel Mora (Selena Gomez) are on the trail once again in the new season of “Only Murders,” determined to follow the truth even if it leads them all the way across the country.
In Season 4 of “Only Murders” Charles, Oliver & Mabel wrestle with the shocking events at the end of Season 3 surrounding Charles’ stunt double & friend Sazz Pataki. Questioning whether Sazz or Charles was the intended victim, our trio’s investigation leads them all the way to Los Angeles where a Hollywood studio is readying a film about the Only Murders podcast.

The continuing story of the Second Age of Tolkien’s Middle-earth, and the forging of the Great Rings. At the conclusion of Season 1, Lord Celebrimbor forged the Three Rings of the Elves in order to help heal the world and stop the creeping Shadow from taking shape.
In Season 2, Celebrimbor will receive aid from a new ally: Annatar, an Elf who seemingly wants to help create more rings to accomplish the goals of the great Elf lords. But in reality, Annatar is none other than the Dark Lord Sauron, who seeks Celebrimbor’s knowledge to help him create a power that will allow him to dominate all life in Middle-earth.

‘The Fall Guy’ Extended Cut Premiere | Peacock
Fans of “The Fall Guy” who caught the film in theaters already know it’s a high-octane action flick with plenty of romance, jokes, and perhaps most importantly, plenty of Ryan Gosling. The list of people who wouldn’t want even more of those things is likely very small, and audiences hoping for more are getting their wish with the release of the extended cut of “The Fall Guy.”
The movie stars Gosling as Colt Seavers, a Hollywood stuntman who is cajoled by his ex-girlfriend (played by Emily Blunt) to come back for the new film she’s directing. But when one of the movie’s stars goes missing, Seavers finds himself embroiled in an all-too-real plot that goes much deeper than anyone realized.
