Prime Big Deal Days has savings on smart home, audio, physical media
Whether you are starting your holiday shopping a little early or looking for something around the house, Amazon’s annual sale has something for everyone.
If you are anything like me, you have a tendency to go a bit overboard with holiday shopping. My family has stopped even trying to convince me not to go big when it comes to gift-giving. But my naturally extravagant tendencies can also get expensive. So, once fall hits, I am always on the lookout for ways to start building my present stockpile while also saving a little bit of money. Therefore, with the launch of Amazon’s annual Prime Big Deal Days, I am diving into everything that Amazon has to offer.
So, while I have loaded up my cart with presents for my niece and nephew, as well as my parents, family, and friends, I also came across a few deals that I thought might be of interest to readers of The Streamable. My colleague David Satin has already run through the best streaming deals available on Prime Big Deal Days, so check out his work if you need a smart TV, streaming device, projector, soundbar, etc. But I’ve put together a list of some things that I think a streaming enthusiast might also be interested in.

Echo deals
I do not consider myself a smart-home person. I don’t have a video doorbell or cameras around my house. But I have to admit that I appreciate the convenience of having an Alexa-enabled Echo device in just about every room. From getting the weather forecast to asking random questions when my hands are full to turning on one of those smart lights that I only partially know how to operate, I have grown to enjoy this aspect of the eventual AI world takeover.
So, if you are in the market for a smart home hub that can do everything from tell you a joke to monitor your entire security setup, check out these options that are on sale now.

I know this might be a bit sacrilegious for a site called “The Streamable,” but for those of us who came of age all the way back in the 1900s, there is still something comforting in being able to turn to the discs and plastic boxes of your favorite shows and movies. While there are a ton of titles on sale, these are ones that especially piqued my interest and will be arriving at my doorstep within one to two business days.
