How do T-Mobile T-Mix benefits work?
The secret to T-Mix is a new system called “Picks.” Instead of T-Mobile deciding which perks you should get, you select the ones you’ll actually use from an extensive catalog of services. How many Picks you receive depends on your wireless plan and the number of lines on your account.
T-Mobile offers three T-Mix plans, each with a different starting price and number of included Picks:
- T-Mix Standard: Starts at $55 per month for one line and includes one Pick.
- T-Mix More: Starts at $75 per month for one line and includes two Picks.
- T-Mix Loaded: Starts at $95 per month for one line and includes three Picks.
A couple of things worth knowing: Those prices require AutoPay, and with taxes and fees are extra. Customers with multiple lines can receive additional Picks, while eligible seniors, military members, veterans, first responders, and college students can take advantage of discounted plans.
What benefits can T-Mobile customers choose?
If you’re a streaming fan, this is where things get particularly interesting. T-Mix offers Picks from some of the biggest names in entertainment, including Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV, Paramount+, and ESPN Unlimited. Music lovers can choose Apple Music, Pandora, or SiriusXM, while YouTube Premium and Xbox Game Pass offer even more options.
But T-Mobile isn’t limiting your choices to entertainment. You can also select benefits from DoorDash, Delta SkyMiles, and Google Gemini, so whether you’re ordering dinner, planning a trip, or exploring AI, there’s something worth considering. Additionally, you can put Picks toward wireless benefits like T-Satellite or eligible phone promotions. In other words, if you don’t need another streaming subscription, you can put that value toward something that you actually need.
Why should you care about T-Mix?
For me, the biggest selling point is flexibility. Think about how often your streaming habits change. Maybe you’ll watch ESPN nonstop during football season, but once your favorite team’s season ends, you’d rather catch up on the new critically acclaimed Apple TV original or dive into the Netflix library. With T-Mix, you aren’t necessarily stuck with the same selections year-round.
T-Mobile lets customers swap their benefits during quarterly selection windows, giving them opportunities to adjust their subscriptions without changing their wireless plan. Some wireless perks can be changed at any time, although certain selections, especially phone promotions, come with longer commitments. And remember, all of this comes on top of the perks T-Mobile already offers members, including T-Mobile Tuesdays, travel discounts, dining rewards, and exclusive ticket opportunities.
Ultimately, if you’re already paying for multiple streaming subscriptions and other digital services, T-Mix is worth a serious look. While your actual savings will depend on the benefits you choose, being able to get more of the services you want through a bill you’re already paying is a pretty appealing proposition, and having the freedom to change those benefits as your needs evolve? That’s a pretty good benefit as well.
