T-Mobile’s T-Mix plans help you save on streaming services and much more
Save on subscriptions to Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV, and Paramount+
T-Mobile is restructuring its wireless lineup around streaming and other benefits with T-Mix, a three-plan program arriving in November that lets customers select which services come bundled with their monthly bill. Announced today, the carrier frames T-Mix as a departure from fixed-benefit bundles. A survey conducted by T-Mobile found that 84% of consumers want a greater say in what they are paying for.
Key Details:
- Pricing: T-Mix Standard starts at $55/month for one line with 1 Pick, with AutoPay plus taxes and fees.
- Streaming options: Picks include Apple TV, Hulu, Netflix, Paramount+, ESPN Unlimited, YouTube Premium, and more
- Availability: Plans launch in November, with discounted versions for 55+, military and veterans, first responders, and college students.
The Picks system is the core of how T-Mix cuts streaming costs. Rather than paying separately for each subscription, customers assign their allotted Picks toward services, and the benefits are included in the plan price rather than added as a la carte charges. Higher tiers and additional lines grant more Picks, expanding how much a household can fold into one bill.
Flexibility sets the program apart from standard carrier bundles. Per T-Mobile, subscribers can change their partner Picks four times annually, using three scheduled change windows plus an Annual Remix window, without switching their monthly plan. A subscriber can move a Pick from one streamer to another when a new show drops. No tier jump or fee applies. Picks include Hulu, Netflix, Apple TV, ESPN Unlimited, Paramount+, and YouTube Premium, as well as music services and game passes.
T-Mobile ties the move to broader subscription spending, noting that consumers spend roughly $219 monthly on streaming, gaming, and tech. That matters. On T-Mix Loaded, the carrier claims that each line carries a minimum average value of $120 per month. For cord-cutters already juggling multiple ad-supported and premium services, consolidating two or three subscriptions into a wireless bill is where T-Mix delivers real savings.
The launch lands T-Mobile in direct competition with carrier-bundle strategies that have reshaped how streamers acquire subscribers. What remains unclear is how many services a single Pick covers and whether the included tiers carry ads. Read more at T-Mobile.
