“Kleo” Season 2 Trailer Out Now

Netflix has released the official Season 2 trailer for its critically acclaimed German Netflix comedy-thriller “Kleo,” premiering late next month on the streamer.

Jella Haase leads the cast as the title character Kleo Straub, an unofficial East German Stasi assassin who, after successfully assassinating a double agent in 1987, was imprisoned for an alleged act of treason and plans her revenge upon release on the conspirators who framed her, all while Sven (Dimitrij Schaad), an underappreciated fraud policeman, finds connections between the initial 1987 and Straub, leading him to impede her quest for vengeance.

In Season 2, Kleo continues her hunt to get the red suitcase back and destroy it for good, but she’s not alone: the KGB and CIA are suddenly on her heels to beat her to its contents, and Sven works to redeem himself in Kleo’s eyes so they can work together again. With Europe’s future in Kleo’s hands, she must first confront more of her past than she would like.
