Whether it’s spooky, spooky skeletons or supernatural serial killers, Halloween has never had a shortage of compelling content to curl up on the couch and watch. So, after you’re done trick or treating, or before you head out to your costume party, if you are looking to find a movie to watch to cap off your Spooky Season, we’ve put together a list of 13 iconic films that run the gamut of genres.

From terrifying horror classics to light-hearted, otherworldly favorites, we’ve collected the best Halloween movies to stream regardless of your mood or tolerance for jump scares. Personally, I am not much of a horror fan; while I am not opposed to watching scary movies, it’s not the type of thing that I naturally gravitate toward. So, for my Halloween evening viewing rotation, I might go with a classic from my childhood like “Ghostbuster,” or the also wonderfully campy “Ghostbusters II.”

I could also mix in some more family-friendly comedy films like “Hocus Pocus,” “The Addams Family,” or even “Casper.” But if I really was goign to have my pick, I would go with some classics that pull from the best of multiple genres, like “Shaun of the Dead,” “Young Frankenstein,” “The Rocky Horror Picture Show,” “Get Out,” or “Scary Movie.”

What type of Halloween fare do you normally gravitate toward? Let us know in the comments what Spooky Season movies you will be streaming to celebrate All Hallows’ Eve tonight.
