Spend your summer at Disney+! It’s a light month at the House of Mouse but still plenty of programming for younger audiences out of school for the summer! This August, catch the Season 2 premiere of “Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures,” as well as Season 2 of its companion shorts series. Season 3 of “Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends” will also come to Disney+ this month with Team Spidey taking on Zola, Sandman, Doc Ock, and more.

On the live-action side, K-pop megastars Jimin and Jung Kook hit the road in “Are You Sure?!,” a new travel documentary series premiering on Disney+ this month that follows the BTS members on an unforgettable trip in Summer 2023 ahead of their military enlistment. Plus, catch up on the final season of Freeform’s “grown-ish,” Yara Shahidi, Marcus Scribner, Trevor Jackson, and more, which concluded its six-season run this past May.

“Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures” Shorts Season 2 Premiere | Friday, Aug. 2

Ahead of the Aug. 14 premiere of “Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures,” the streamer will also release a new batch of “Young Jedi Adventures” shorts, following the young Jedi as they continue their adventures on Tenoo, making new friends along the way.

grown-ish” Season 6 | Wednesday, Aug. 7

The nest is empty and Johnsons are spreading their wings. The sixth and final season of the “black-ish” spin-off series comes to the streamer this month. Throughout the series’ run, the story followed two of the Johnson family’s three kids, Zoey (Yara Shahidi) and Andre Junior (Marcus Scribner), as they go off to college and begin their journeys to adulthood. Also starring were Deon Cole, Trevor Jackson, Francia Raisa, Emily Arlook, Jordan Buhat, Chloe Bailey, Halle Bailey, Luka Sabbat, and Chris Parnell.

Are You Sure?!” Premiere | Thursday, Aug. 8

BTS superstars Jimin and Jung Kook went on an unforgettable trip in Summer of 2023 ahead of their military enlistment and took the cameras with them to track the chaos and excitement. The eight-episode travel miniseries follows the dynamic duo to New York state, USA; Jeju Island, South Korea; and Sapporo, Japan, “as they eat, shop, cook, camp, canoe, swim, and road trip together.” The first episode will be released on Aug. 8 with new episodes available weekly.

Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures” Season 2 Premiere | Wednesday, Aug. 14

The new season of the animated “Star Wars” series kicks off with its first two episodes as the younglings continue their training and embark on even bigger missions across the galaxy, traveling to new planets with friends (and adversaries) old and new. Helping them on their missions is Master Zia’s new Padawan, Wes Vinik, and his astromech RO-M1. The voice cast includes Jamaal Avery Jr., Jecobi Swain, Emma Berman, Dee Bradley Baker, Jonathan Lipow, Piotr Michael, Nasim Pedrad, and more.

Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends” Season 3 | Friday, August 23

Peter Parker, Miles Morales, and Gwen Stacy spin all-new adventures in the third season of the Marvel Studios Animation series, balancing childhood and a laundry list of recurring villains including Rhino, Doc Ock, Green Goblin, Electro, Black Cat, and more. Also making appearances to lend a helping hand are Black Panther, Ms. Marvel (and her dog Lockjaw), Hulk, Iron Man, Ant-Man, Wasp, and more superheroes in their early years.
