Top 5 Titles Coming to Paramount+ in June 2024: Tony Awards and Daytime Emmy Awards, ‘Mayor of Kingstown’ Season 3, More
June will be a month of thrilling TV and awards shows on Paramount+. The month will open with the return of Taylor Sheridan’s prison drama “Mayor of Kingstown.” After Jeremy Renner’s near-fatal accident, the Oscar-nominated actor returns for Season 3 of the series on June 2. Throughout the month, entertainment fans will also be able to cheer on their favorites at the Daytime Emmy Awards on Friday, June 7, and the Tony Awards on Sunday, June 16.
Also during the month of June, Paramount+ will be home to a handful of documentaries, highlighted by “Let the Canary Sing” and “How Music Got Free”. The streamer will also play host to exciting sports action, like the PGA Tour’s Memorial Tournament and games from the [NWSL] and WNBA.

Jeremy Renner makes his return to TV and to the crime drama series in an explosive (literally) third season. In the new season, a series of explosions rock Kingstown and its citizens while a new face of the Russian mob sets up shop in the city, and a drug war rages inside and outside prison walls. It’s up to Mike to end the war but things get complicated when a familiar face from his incarcerated past threatens to undermine his efforts. The series also stars Hugh Dillon, Taylor Handley, Emma Laird, Tobi Bamtefa, Derek Webster, Nishi Munshi, Hamish Allan-Headley, and Michael Beach.

Live from the Westin Bonaventure Los Angeles, the Daytime Emmy Awards return for year 51 to honor the best in daytime dramas, talk shows, instructional programming, hosting, culinary, and legal/courtroom programs. CBS leads the pack with 33 nominations this year, including Daytime Drama Series nominees “The Young and the Restless” and “The Bold and the Beautiful.”

Produced by Eminem and Lebron James, the new two-part documentary series tells “the fascinating, and often funny, inside story” of how file-sharing technology in the late 1990s and early 2000s created the means and incentives for young people to participate in music piracy and theft. Narrated by Method Man, the docuseries features interviews with Eminem, 50 Cent, Timbaland, Jimmy Iovine, Rocsi Diaz, Rhymefest, Steve Stoute, and more.
