Top 5 Titles Coming to Paramount+ in November 2023: ‘The Curse,’ ‘Good Burger 2,’ and More
As fall TV starts to feel a little more fall-like, Paramount+ is heading into November as the host of several new series this month, including its own “Lawmen: Bass Reeves,” starring David Oyelowo; the genre-bending Showtime series “The Curse”; and the United States debut of the hit Australian comedy “Colin From Accounts,” among plenty of other new titles and library additions.
On the movie side, ’90s kids will get a heap of nostalgia with the premiere of the highly anticipated sequel to “Good Burger,” which will be served up exclusively on the platform on Nov. 22. Paramount+ will add dozens of titles to its film library starting on Nov. 1, including “Ferris Bueller's Day Off,” “Gladiator,” and a large collection of Audrey Hepburn classics like “My Fair Lady,” “Roman Holiday,” and more.

“Lawmen: Bass Reeves” | Sunday, Nov. 5
The first planned installment of Paramount+’s new “Lawmen” anthology series, the premiere season follows the title Bass Reeves, known as the greatest frontier hero in American history who worked in the post-Reconstruction era as a federal peace officer in the Indian Territory, capturing over 3,000 of the most dangerous criminals without ever being wounded. The eight-episode first season debut its first two episodes with a new episode every week and will star David Oyelowo opposite Shea Whigham, Garrett Hedlund, Joaquina Kalukango, Lonnie Chavis, Grantham Coleman, Tosin Morohunfola, Dale Dickey, Rob Morgan, Ryan O’Nan, Margot Bingham Mo Brings Plenty, Justin Hurtt-Dunkley and Bill Dawes.

“The Curse” | Friday, Nov. 10
Nathan Fielder (“The Rehearsal”) and Benny Safdie (“Uncut Gems”) team up for the highly anticipated Showtime and A24 co-production “The Curse,” which debuts on streaming and on demand for Paramount+ subscribers with the Paramount+ with Showtime plan on Friday, Nov. 10, followed by its on-air debut on Showtime on Sunday, Nov. 12 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. The genre-bending series Fielder and Safdie opposite Emma Stone and explores how an alleged curse disturbs the relationship of a newly married couple as they try to conceive a child while co-starring in their new home improvement show.

“The Eternal Memory” | Monday, Nov. 6
The intimate Chilean documentary “The Eternal Memory” follows the relationship of famed journalist Augusto Góngora and actor Paulina Urrutia, who have been a couple for 23 years. For the past eight years, Paulina has been Augusto’s caretaker following his Alzheimer’s diagnosis, helping him maintain his identity. The film took home this year’s Grand Jury Prize for World Cinema Documentary at the Sundance Film Festival.

“Good Burger 2” | Wednesday, Nov. 22
Welcome back to Good Burger, home of the Good Burger! Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell reprise their roles as Dex and Ed as they reunite in the present-day sequel to the iconic 1990s film. The dysfunctional duo is back at the title restaurant with a new group of employees and with Dex back in his old job after another of his inventions fails. But as Dex devises a plan to get back on his feet, the fate of Good Burger is once again at risk. The sequel also stars Lil Rel Howery, Jillian Bell, Kamaia Fairburn, Alex R. Hibbert, Fabrizio Guido, Elizabeth Hinkler, Emily Hinkler, and Anabel Graetz, plus cameos from original film stars Josh Server, Lori Beth Denberg, and Carmen Electra.

“Earth Mama” | Tuesday, Nov. 28
A24’s “Earth Mama,” which premiered at 2023’s Sundance before its summer release theatrical release, stars Tia Nomore as Gia, a pregnant single mother with two children in foster care who embraces her Bay Area community as she fights to reclaim her family. Erika Alexander, Doechii, Keta Price, Olivia Luccardi, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Dominic Fike, and Bokeem Woodbine co-star in the critically acclaimed film, which holds a 96% on Rotten Tomatoes.

The Lesson
