How to Sign Up and Download NFL+ on Sony Smart TV

Unfortunately, NFL+ is not currently available natively using Sony Smart TV. NFL+ may launch a native app for Sony Smart TV in the future, but for now you can only stream using Google Cast (2019+ models).

You can still sign up for NFL+ and use it on other devices like Google Chromecast, Android TV, iPhone/iPad, Android Phone/Tablet, Mac, Windows, and VIZIO Smart TV.

Google Cast

  1. Click here to sign up for NFL+.
  2. Install the NFL+ iPhone/iPad app or Android Phone/Tablet app.
  3. Once installed, log in using your NFL+ credentials.
  4. Make sure your Smart TV is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Android Phone/Tablet or iPhone/iPad.
  5. Start playing the content in the NFL+ app and select the Google Cast icon.
  6. Choose your Sony Smart TV and it will start displaying on your Smart TV.

TV Shows

NFL+ provides exclusive access to live out-of-market preseason games. NFL+ also provides access to live local and primetime games that are made available in your local TV market on your phone or tablet from Kickoff to Super Bowl LVII, as well as live audio for every game of the season, on any device. With an NFL+ Premium subscription, you can watch football on your schedule with full and condensed replays of every game.

Preseason

NFL+ includes the live Preseason games that do not air locally within your market on all supported devices.

If a Preseason game is nationally available (on CBS, ESPN, FOX, NBC, or Amazon Prime Video), live viewing in NFL+ is only available on your phone or tablet.

Replays of all games can be accessed with an NFL+ Premium subscription across all devices.

Regular Season and Postseason

With NFL+, you can watch live local and primetime Regular Season and Postseason games on your phone or tablet.

This set of games includes Thursday Night Football on Amazon Prime Video, NBC’s Sunday Night Football, ESPN’s Monday Night Football, games that are broadcast on CBS and FOX in your local TV market, and any game that is broadcast live on NFL Network.

NFL Network games are limited in availability to mobile phones streaming over wireless networks only.

Replays of all games can be accessed with an NFL+ Premium subscription across all devices.

Live Audio

The live audio of every game of the season is available on NFL+ (home, away and national calls).
