No Parental Controls
There are no parental controls for Quibi.
Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV+, Disney+, Max, Hulu, Netflix, Paramount Plus, Peacock, Paramount+ with SHOWTIME, and STARZ have parental control features.
Ads
Quibi offers two different tiers for their service. Their ad-supported tier will include unskippable 6-15 second pre-roll ads, with longer shows (over 7 minutes) getting the longer pre-roll ads. Every hour of content will include approximately 2.5 minutes of ads.
Offline Downloads
Quibi will let you watch and download shows to access on-the-go. This means even if you are without an internet connection you can still stream your favorite shows and movies.
No International Access
Currently, the service is only available in U.S. and Canada.
Turnstyle Feature
Quibi’s app features “Turnstyle,” which allows for seamless fullscreen viewing whether the consumer is holding their phone in landscape or portrait mode.
Quibi is unlike other streaming service, as it’s made up of exclusively original content. The service will offer movies in chapters that are 7 to 10 minutes in length, unscripted series & docs, and “Daily Essentials” that recap news, sports, and entertainment.
When the service launches in April, it will debut 50 shows including Survive, Most Dangerous Game, Thanks A Million, Chrissy’s Court, Murder House Flip, Last Night’s Late Night, and The Replay by ESPN. Over the course of the first year, Quibi will launch 175 original shows and 8,500 quick bites of content.

Quibi will include Daily Essentials, curated daily into 5-6 minute quick bites of news, entertainment and inspiration.
Last Night’s Late Night

At launch, Quibi will have feature length films from movie stars like Liam Hemsworth, Christoph Waltz, Will Forte, Eva Longoria, Andy Garcia, and Kaitlin Olson. The movies will be released in 7 to 10 minute chapters.
Still to come include a remake of the classic “The Fugitive” starring Kiefer Sutherland and “Die Hart” a comedy with Kevin Hart.
