How to Sign Up and Download Star+ on LG Smart TV
Star+ is available natively using LG Smart TV. Additionally, you may be able to stream to your LG Smart TV through Apple AirPlay (2018+ (webOS 4.0+) models).
Star+ app on LG Smart TV

- Once you’ve signed up, go to the Home Screen on your LG Smart TV.
- Launch the app store and search for “Star+” on your LG Smart TV.
- Select “Download” to install the app.
- Once installed, log in using your Star+ credentials.
- You can now stream Star+ on LG Smart TV.
Apple AirPlay
- Click here to sign up for Star+.
- Install the Star+ iPhone/iPad app.
- Once installed, log in using your Star+ credentials.
- Make sure your Smart TV is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your iPhone/iPad.
- Start playing the content in the Star+ app and select the AirPlay icon.
- Choose your LG Smart TV and it will start displaying on your Smart TV.

No Ads
Ads will appear on live sports programs, but not for movies or TV shows watched on demand.
Offline Downloads
Star+ is one of the most generous streaming services for offline downloads. Star+ subscribers have access to unlimited downloads of shows and movies on the Star+ app to watch offline later, on up to 10 mobile or tablet devices.
There are no limits on the number of times a title can be downloaded annually. The number of downloads available at a given time is based on the storage space available on your device.
International Access
Depending on where you travel to, Star+ will behave differently. If you go to a country that has Star+, you will see the content catalog in that country. If you go to a country that doesn’t have Star+, you will only be able to access shows and movies you’ve already downloaded offline.
Originals
The service offers many originals, including “Y: The Last Man,” “Reservation Dogs,” and “Only Murders in the Building” with Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gómez.
The service will also produce original content from the region, including “Santa Evita” (from Salma Hayek), “No Fue Mi Culpa,” “Los Protectores,” “Máscara Contra Caballero,” “Insânia,” and “El Encargado.”
TV Shows
Star+ offers a wide range of sports through ESPN, including NFL American football, MLS and Serie A football, NBA basketball, NHL hockey, Grand Slam tennis, PGA and The Masters golf, the Tour de France, and SportsCenter. Users will also see ESPN’s 30x30 documentaries.
