Unfortunately, Stirr is not currently available natively using LG Smart TV. Stirr may launch a native app for LG Smart TV in the future, but for now you can only stream using Apple AirPlay (2018+ (webOS 4.0+) models).

You can still watch Stirr on other devices like Apple TV, Roku, Android TV, iPhone/iPad, Android Phone/Tablet, Mac, Windows, Samsung Smart TV, Sony Smart TV, and VIZIO Smart TV.

Apple AirPlay

  1. Install the Stirr iPhone/iPad app.
  2. Make sure your Smart TV is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your iPhone/iPad.
  3. Start playing the content in the Stirr app and select the AirPlay icon.
  4. Choose your LG Smart TV and it will start displaying on your Smart TV.

If you have a compatible TV and you don’t see AirPlay as an option, make sure you update to the latest LG Smart TV firmware.

Stirr does have a library of movies, but it is quite weak in comparison to some other free streaming services. We’re talking about films like “The Accidental Husband” with Uma Thurman, “What Just Happened” with Robert De Niro, and “Direct Action” with Dolph Lundgren.

If you’re looking for free movies, you’ll likely do better with another service.
