A week ahead of its world premiere, the highly anticipated music documentary “Elton John: Never Too Late” has set its Disney+ streaming premiere for Friday, Dec. 13.

Hallmark+ Gives Straight-To-Series Order to “Ripple”

As Hallmark Media prepares to rebrand and relaunch its Hallmark Movies Now streamer in September under the new banner Hallmark+, the streamer is already going ahead with a straight-to-series order for the drama series “Ripple.”

From Lionsgate TV and created by Michele Giannusa, “Ripple” is set in New York City and follows Nate, Kris, Walter, and Aria, whose paths cross regularly, yet have never met. Through seemingly small decisions made in the series pilot, the core four, all dealing with life’s challenges, are finally led to each other, proving we are never really alone. Joni Lefkowitz will serve as the project’s showrunner. Production is set to begin in September with a premiere date to be announced later.

Hallmark+ will launch in September with the original series “The Chicken Sisters,” based on KJ Dell’Antonia’s bestseller, and the new, unscripted series “Celebrations with Lacey Chabert.” Also premiering throughout the month are three new installments of “The Jane Mysteries” and the “Love on the Danube” movie trilogy.

Ashley cut the cord in 2012 and is a fan of the New York Yankees, FC Bayern Munich, and (for balance) the Buffalo Sabres. She currently streams using a Fire TV Stick 4K Max, and her favorites to stream include "Blazing Saddles," "Six Feet Under," and "Taskmaster."
