‘Inspector Ellis’ Series Premiere | Acorn TV
This new British detective series features Sharon D. Clarke as Detective Chief Inspector (DCI) Ellis, who travels to a new department each week in order to try and help its police officers solve cases they have thus far failed to wrap up.
As a Black female cop, Inspector Ellis is used to being dismissed and overlooked but remains focused on her work as a first-class murder detective, fueled by a determination for justice and a deep well of compassion for those who need it.
