Everywhere you look on television these days, it seems impossible to escape from a football game. The College Football Playoff is still ongoing, and the NFL playoffs have just started! For fans of the sport, it’s a utopia, but for those who couldn’t care less, it can mean an exasperating search for something else to watch.
I’ll try and include something for both viewers in this week’s edition of my list of new shows and movies to stream each and every day so that no one feels left out! Check out what I put together below and find something new to watch!
Monday, Jan. 13
Minnesota Vikings vs. Los Angeles Rams NFL Wild Card game | ESPN+
This might be the best football game of the entire Wild Card round this season. Although the action on the field is overshadowed by the horrific fires that have ravaged the Los Angeles region and caused the game to be moved to Arizona, the matchup between the two teams cannot be overlooked.

The Rams will figure to try and keep their famed offensive trio of Matthew Stafford, Cooper Kupp, and Puka Nacua going against a Vikings defense led by the maniacal Brian Flores. On the other side of the ball, Vikings QB Sam Darnold will continue to try to bolster his Comeback Player of the Year case with a playoff win.

‘Star Wars: Skeleton Crew’ Season finale | Disney+
“Skeleton Crew” is something of an anti-“Andor.” It’s full of imagination, magic, and adventure, three of the qualities that captured the minds of so many young Star Wars fans at different points in the decades since the original movies were in theaters.
“Skeleton Crew” follows the tale of a group of kids who stumble upon a derelict spaceship that crash-landed on their home planet. When they climb aboard, they are accidentally whisked off into a larger galaxy, and must use all their wits to try and make their way home without being captured by bloodthirsty pirates!

‘Love Island All Stars’ Season 2 premiere | Peacock
A group of famous “Love Island” All Stars returns to paradise for the first time, hoping to get another shot at finding love. They may not have had much success in their first go-around on the island, but that isn’t stopping them from shooting their shots one more time!
Fan favorites like Curtis Pritchard, Olivia Hawkins, Scott Thomas, Gabby Allen, and many more will be back to try and find their perfect match once again in the beautiful Love Island setting. Will they be successful with one more shot at finding the partner of their dreams?
Thursday, Jan. 16
‘Harley Quinn’ Season 5 premiere | Max
This DC-themed series may be animated, but it’s definitely for adults only. It follows Harley Quinn’s efforts to try and become Gotham’s greatest supervillain, with a little help from her lover Poison Ivy and a ragtag bunch of villains like Clayface and King Shark.
Some big changes are on tap for Harley, Ivy, and the gang this season, starting with a big move to Metropolis! King Shark must cope with fatherhood for the first time, and Bane has to try to settle into a new job at the Daily Planet. Plus, there’s sure to be some chaos wherever this motley crew goes, even if Superman himself is in town.

‘Severance’ Season 2 premiere | Apple TV+
‘Severance’ follows Mark Scout, a worker at a company with the power to surgically alter memories to compartmentalize a person’s work and home lives. In Season 1, however, Mark and his coworkers begin to realize their jobs aren’t everything the company tells them they are.
In Season 2, Mark and his friends will learn the horrific consequences of trying to take control of the severance barrier, as they did in Season 1. Will any of them make it out of the new season alive as a result of their actions? Wherever you think the next season of “Severance” is headed, the show is almost guaranteed to keep you guessing.

Based on a true story, after her husband Shabazz is arrested, Laura finds herself struggling to make ends meet. Overnight, however, this blessing turns into a nightmare.
