Papa Smurf has been kidnapped! The evil wizards Razamel and Gargamel have taken him to the real world, and it’s up to Smurfette to lead the rescue mission to bring him back again. With the help of new friends, the Smurfs must discover what defines their destiny to save the universe.
Who stars in ‘Smurfs’?

Nick Offerman has been cast as Papa Smurf’s brother Ken, and James Corden, Nick Offerman, JP Karliak, Daniel Levy, Amy Sedaris, Natasha Lyonne, Sandra Oh, Octavia Spencer, Nick Kroll, Hannah Waddingham, Alex Winter, Maya Erskine, Billie Lourd, Xolo Maridueña, and Kurt Russell all have unspecified roles in the movie as well.
When and where will ‘Smurfs’ stream once it leaves theaters?
The “where” part of this question is easy. “Smurfs” is being distributed by Paramount in the United States, which means it will stream on Paramount+ when it’s done in theaters. Viewers will be able to stream it for $8 per month on Paramount+’s ad-supported Essential plan or for $13 on the ad-free Paramount+ with SHOWTIME tier.
How long it will take likely depends on the success of “Smurfs.” Paramount has had release windows as short as 45 days, or as long as 200+ days for recent releases, and the box office receipts of the film will go a long way toward determining whether “Smurfs” gets a fast release on Paramount+ or not.
