When does ‘Doctor Who’ Season 2 premiere?

Why are they calling this Season 2?
Despite actually being the 14th season of the revived “Doctor Who” era and the 41st season in the character’s history, the 15th Doctor’s first batch of adventures was rebranded as Season 1 thanks to the move to Disney+. It’s something of a soft reboot of the show; it still acknowledges the past of the show, but it was thought that starting over the season count would simplify things in the minds of new fans coming to the show for the first time.

What happened in Season 1 of ‘Doctor Who’?
The first season featuring Ncuti Gatwa as the 15th Doctor showed the Time Lord grappling with his past, facing the consequences of previous actions, and grappling with the emotional toll of his experiences. All the while, he and his companion Ruby Sunday travel the universe facing all kinds of unique phenomena.
What will happen in Season 2 of ‘Doctor Who’?
This season, The Doctor will meet his new companion Belinda Chandra, embarking on an epic journey to return her to Earth. A mysterious force will stand in the way however, and the T.A.R.D.I.S. will be tested in ways never before conceived of by its time-hopping owner as he tries to overcome the wonders and terrors of the universe.
Together, Belinda and The Doctor will leap ahead into the 51st century, and make tracks across the galaxy to hear the best (and worst) from the 803rd Interstellar Song Contest. What could possibly go wrong?
Who will star in ‘Doctor Who’ Season 2?
Ncuti Gatwa returns as The Doctor in Season 2, and Varada Sethu will star alongside him as Belinda Chandra. Millie Gibson will be back as companion Ruby Sunday, and additional cast members include Rose Ayling-Ellis, Christopher Chung, Anita Dobson, Michelle Greenidge, Jonah Hauer-King, Ruth Madeley, Jemma Redgrave, and Susan Twist.
