How Much Does it Cost to Watch Bowl Games on Sling TV?
As you can see, the vast majority of NCAA bowl games will be broadcast on ESPN, which is available on Sling’s Orange package in every market. Sling also carries ESPN2 and ESPN3, the latter of which offers all live sporting events broadcast on ABC simultaneously. That puts 40 of the 43 bowl games in 2023 instantly at the fingertips of Sling TV subscribers.
Sling’s Orange plan normally starts at $40 per month, but the streamer is offering new subscribers a limited-time deal: 50% off their first month of service on any plan, which would lower the price of Sling Orange to $20 for an entire month. That will allow you to stream every bowl game on the schedule on ABC, ESPN or ESPN2 for just $20.
Now, what about games on Fox, CBS, and The CW? Sling carries Fox in Atlanta, Austin, Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, Detroit, Gainesville, Houston, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, Minneapolis/St. Paul, New York, Orlando/Daytona/Melbourne, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Francisco/Oakland/San Jose, Seattle, Tampa/St. Petersburg and Washington, D.C. Sling does not carry The CW in any market, but fans who want to see bowl games on those channels can View Price for a one-time cost of $18.99 and pay less than a streamer like Fubo or Hulu + Live TV to get local channels like Fox and The CW, even with their Sling subscription.
CBS can also be accessed through an antenna, or users can sign up for a free trial of Paramount+ with Showtime to watch the Sun Bowl on Dec. 29. Paramount+ with Showtime offers a livestream of your local CBS station so that Oregon State vs. Notre Dame matchup will be live on that plan as well as linear CBS.
There may be a couple of extra steps to follow, but you can stream every single NCAA college football bowl game in the 2023-24 season for less than $50 with a Sling subscription, even if you have to buy an over-the-air antenna to get some local channels. It’s by far the cheapest live TV streaming solution for watching bowl games, and you can sign up anytime!
