What’s the Cheapest Ways to Watch NFL RedZone in 2024?

As the first weekend of RedZone approaches, fans may want to know the best way to watch the seven-hour whip-around show hosted by Scott Hanson.

NFL RedZone allows fans to watch up to 8 games at once, and there are multiple options for streaming the channel this season.

Somewhere, Scott Hanson is locked in a room chugging energy drinks and practicing his best transition phrases. The 2024 NFL season kicks off for the vast majority of teams in the league on Sunday, Sept. 8, which means Hanson will be returning to the NFL RedZone channel to host seven hours of uninterrupted football coverage. NFL RedZone is a fantastic way to see action from around the league, not only during Opening Week, but every week of the season.

We’ll break down the best ways to stream NFL RedZone at the lowest possible price below, so fans can find the channel without having to worry about breaking the bank.

The Streamable’s NFL RedZone 2024 Recommendations:

Cheapest Option Overall: NFL+

NFL+ has two subscription options: its basic plan for $6.99 per month, or the Premium option for $14.99 per month. Fans will have to sign up for NFL+ Premium to get NFL RedZone, but once they do, they can watch the channel without any device restrictions for less than $20 per month. NFL+ Premium also features live game broadcasts of nationally distributed contests on mobile devices, the new NFL Pro advanced stats and film database, a livestream of NFL Network, and more.

Cheapest Live TV Streaming Option: Sling TV

Sling TV comes with NFL RedZone in its Sports Extra add-on pack for $11 extra on top of a base plan.

Sling TV provides the cheapest way to stream NFL RedZone alongside other popular cable channels like ESPN and TNT. Sling’s Orange or Blue plans start at $40 per month normally, and NFL RedZone comes in the Sports Extra add-on pack for an additional $11 per month.

Viewers can also try the Sling TV Season Pass bundle, which offers all the channels from both Sling’s Orange and Blue base plans — a combination that costs $55 per month by itself normally — and all channels in the Sports Extra pack (including RedZone) for $199 for four months. You’ll have to prepay all at once for this option, but you’ll save over $60 off what you’d pay to access all of this content a la carte through Sling.

Best Option for Fans Who Want Variety: DIRECTV STREAM

DIRECTV STREAM is offering a $30 discount for three months of service to new customers.

First, it’s important to note that thanks to a carriage dispute with Disney, DIRECTV STREAM does not currently offer channels like ABC and ESPN. But that doesn’t have any effect on its ability to offer NFL RedZone, nor does it mean that viewers should ignore DIRECTV STREAM’s current offer of $30 off per month for a new subscriber's first three months of service.

DIRECTV STREAM’s ENTERTAINMENT package now starts at $49.99 per month with the discount and comes with many of the top-demand cable channels on the market. The Sports add-on pack is needed to stream NFL RedZone for an extra $15 per month, but this still raises the price to just $65 plus taxes over the course of three months, which will carry viewers through nearly the entire NFL regular season. DIRECTV STREAM also comes with a five-day free trial for new subscribers.

Top Choice for Bundle Fans: Hulu + Live TV

Hulu + Live TV still includes the Disney Bundle at no extra cost with a subscription.

Hulu + Live TV gives new customers a three-day free trial, though customers should be aware that in October the price of a subscription will rise to $82.99 per month. Viewers will still get free access to the Disney Bundle when they sign up for Hulu + Live TV, however, ensuring they can log into Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ as well as the live TV service.

Hulu + Live TV houses NFL RedZone in its Sports add-on package, which costs another $10 per month on top of your subscription. The real value here is generated by the inclusion of the Disney Bundle, so if you’re interested in those services anyway and need a new way to watch NFL RedZone this is a good choice.

Good Pick for Sports Fanatics: Fubo

Fubo is a bit more expensive, but it's a fantastic choice for major sports fanatics.

Fubo is one of the most expensive options on this list, as the regional sports network (RSN) fee that the vast majority of customers end up having to pay boosts the price of this service as high as $94.99 per month for its lowest-priced plan. However, that also means viewers get access to their local RSN for watching MLB, NBA, and NHL regular season games where applicable.

Customers will need the Sports Plus with NFL RedZone add-on to stream NFL RedZone with Fubo, which costs $10.99 per month on top of a base plan subscription. The streamer offers a free trial of varying length depending on what time of month a new customer signs up and is now giving users a limited-time discount of $30 off their first month of service.

Last Choice: YouTube TV

YouTube TV comes with RedZone in one of its add-ons, but there are better options out there.

YouTube TV is a perfectly good way to grab NFL RedZone in 2024. Fans will find it in the Sports Plus add-on package, which costs $10.99 per month on top of the $72.99 monthly price of a YouTube TV base plan. There are also NFL RedZone bundling options available to NFL Sunday Ticket subscribers with a YouTube TV subscription.

YouTube TV can’t match the steep first-month discounts of Fubo or DIRECTV STREAM, nor does it offer on-demand streaming services bundled into the price like Hulu + Live TV. It’s definitely a good choice for watching RedZone in 2024, we just think there are better choices available.
