As per usual with the college football landscape, bowl games will be spread across a multitude of channels. Which channels does Sling not carry at all?

The only channels on the list above that Sling TV doesn’t offer are CBS and The CW. There are a couple of easy ways to get these channels, however; first, an over-the-air antenna will deliver local channels like CBS, The CW, and others with no monthly subscription fee attached. Click here to shop for antennas and save 20% off using a special promo code from The Streamable.

There’s no on-demand streaming option that will deliver you a full livestream of The CW at present, but if you subscribe to Paramount+ with SHOWTIME for $13 per month, you can stream your local CBS channel live 24 hours a day.

Which channels does Sling only have in select markets?

One of the reasons that Sling TV is able to maintain such an affordable monthly price is that it does not include local broadcast channels in all markets. Some customers can get ABC and Fox with a Sling subscription, but the list of markets where those channels are available is limited. Check out the markets where you can watch ABC and Fox below, and don’t forget that any college football bowl games appearing on ABC will be simulcast on ESPN3, which is available to all subscribers of Sling’s Orange plan.

Which Sling plan is best for watching college football bowl games?

The vast majority of college football bowl games will be played on ABC or an ESPN channel, which means Sling Orange is probably the way to go for most viewers. This plan has ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPN3, so any games only airing on ABC will also be available via ESPN3’s simulcast.

If you get Fox with Sling TV in your area, the Sling Blue plan might be the way to go. You can switch between Sling Orange and Sling Blue for free, or combine the channel selections of each plan in Sling Orange and Blue starting at $55 per month — though that price will rise as of Dec. 20.

Both Sling’s Orange and Blue channel packages carry TNT, so any games on that channel will be available no matter which Sling plan you pick. Sling is also raising the price of its base plans to $46 per month on Dec. 20, but new customers can prepay for three months of service and get them for $30 each for a limited time, or take 50% off their first month of service now!

Sling TV

The $45.99/month Sling Orange plan offers about 30 channels, including Disney Channel and ESPN. The $45.99/month Sling Blue plan offers about 40 channels, including ABC, Fox, and NBC in major markets.

You can combine Orange+Blue for a total of $60.99 / month. Sling also offers many channel add-on packages starting at $6/month.
