Paramount+ inks deal to stream World Rugby matches
The streamer will be home to World Rugby in the United States through 2029.
Paramount+ already offers a wide range of soccer games, as well as weekly NFL games on Sunday afternoons during football season. That sports lineup is set to grow even further in the coming weeks, as the streamer has announced a deal to stream every single World Rugby game of the next four years.

- Multi-year deal: World Rugby has signed on with Paramount+ through 2029.
- Linear, too: CBS and CBS Sports Network will also get some matches.
- Big inventory: Paramount+ will also stream HSBC SVNS, WVX, and the Pacific Nations Cup.
The deal between Paramount+ and World Rugby begins this year, and the streamer will carry the next three Rugby World Cups. The next one on the calendar is this year’s Women’s Rugby World Cup, which will stream on Paramount+ again in 2029. The next Men’s Rugby World Cup is slated for 2027.
All matches will stream on the Paramount+ Essential plan, as well as Paramount+ with SHOWITME. That means fans can start streaming rugby on Paramount+ for as little as $8 per month. Some matches will also be available to watch on CBS and CBS Sports Network.

In addition to all U.S.A. national team matches and Rugby World Cups, Paramount+ will also get the HSBC Rugby Sevens, WVX, and the Pacific Nations Cup. All matches will stream live, so fans never have to worry about avoiding spoilers until they can watch a match on-demand.
