YouTube TV rolls out new ‘Zen Channel’ to help viewers chill out

The channel is stocked with YouTube TV’s popular moments of zen from its regular ad breaks.

YouTube TV's new zen channel is packed with relaxing moments

When you flip on the TV after the end of a long day or week, you really just want to relax, right? YouTube TV wants to help you take that relaxation to another level. The live TV streaming service has announced the introduction of a new channel for all subscribers, one that exclusively shows the streamer’s famed zen moments 24 hours a day for audiences who just need to chill a little bit.

Key Details:

  • Viewers can find the Zen channel using YouTube TV’s direct search.
  • Subscribers can also add the channel to their customized live guide.
  • Winter-themed moments like penguins frolicking are now featured on the Zen channel.

The YouTube TV Zen channel is easy to find and is available for all customers of the streaming services. It uses the zen moments that customers are used to seeing when watching a live channel on YouTube TV when there isn’t a programmed ad available.

Not only will the Zen channel show gorgeous landscape photos from around the world, it will also feature clips of beautiful vistas, and even adorable animals. Currently, the channel is showing winter-themed content like polar bear cubs and baby penguins.

It’s easy to find the Zen channel; simply search for it in YouTube TV’s interface, or add it to your customized live guide so you can watch it with ease any time you like. The channel can even be added to your library for quick access if you prefer.

“You’ve been asking for 24/7 access to our beloved zen moments, and we heard you,” YouTube TV said in an email announcing the channel. “Based on your suggestion, we’ve launched a dedicated zen channel so you can tune in to this calming content anytime.”

YouTube TV makes it a habit to update its features so that its customers have a user-friendly experience. In October, the streamer launched an update that allowed at least some subscribers to listen to YouTube TV via background audio playback, even when their phone screen is turned off.
