YouTube TV customers can now get free 30-day trial of STARZ
YouTube TV customers can now get free 30-day trial of STARZ
A new partnership between YouTube and STARZ will also allow Primetime Channels customers to take advantage.
Free is always preferable to paid, and YouTube TV knows it. Not only does YouTube TV offer a free trial of up to two weeks on its own, but it also allows viewers to sign up for extra streaming subscriptions, some of which feature trials of their own. STARZ doesn’t normally come with a free trial for new subscribers, but a new partnership with YouTube TV is changing that for a limited time.
Key Details:
- Viewers who sign up for STARZ via YouTube TV or YouTube Primetime Channels can get a 30-day free trial of STARZ.
- The promotion runs from now until April.
- Once the trial ends, STARZ will revert to its standard $11 per month price for YouTube TV subscribers.
The new agreement between STARZ and YouTube TV will allow customers of the live TV streaming service to watch STARZ’s on-demand library for a full month before they have to pay for it. The trial is also available to viewers who sign up through YouTube Primetime Channels, which does not require a YouTube TV subscription to use. Either way, audiences will be able to consolidate STARZ with the rest of their streaming bills, making for a more convenient experience overall.
The trial unlocks STARZ titles such as “Outlander,” the new season of “Power Book III: Raising Kanan”, blockbuster movies such as “Borderlands,” “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” “John Wick: Chapter 4,” and much more.
Viewers who want to take advantage of the trial can do so from now through April. Once that 30-day free viewing period ends, YouTube TV and YouTube Primetime Channel users will be on the hook for STARZ at the prevailing rate of $11 per month.
“As STARZ continues to adapt to the needs of our customers in this rapidly changing digital landscape, strategic partnerships, like this one with YouTube TV, allow us to expand our reach by introducing our premium content to new audiences,” said Alison Hoffman, President of STARZ Networks. “We are excited to have YouTube’s support to ensure their customers see the value of this offer just in time for the Super Bowl. This promotion further highlights the strength of the STARZ brand as a complementary service.”
