Amazon introduces new and upgraded Fire TVs and a new soundbar model for the holidays

The popular Fire TV line of devices is getting some new additions just in time for the holiday shopping season.

If you haven’t picked out a holiday gift for the electronics-needy person on your list, Amazon has some new items for you to consider. The e-commerce giant behind the Fire TV brand of smart TVs and streaming players is rolling out some brand-new items for the 2024 holiday season. Check out the new gadgets below, and see if they might be right for the lucky friend or family member on your list!

New Fire TV line

First up, Amazon has introduced a new, higher-end line of Fire TV sets. The Omni Mini-LED 4K series offers enhanced picture quality, with up to 1,400 nits of peak brightness and up to 1,344 dimming zones—plus support for Dolby Vision IQ, and HDR10+ Adaptive for brighter colors, deeper blacks, and a more richly vibrant contrast. The sets also support Dolby Atmos for improved audio quality, compatibility with Wi-Fi 6E, and the Fire TV Ambient Experience to help your TV screen into a beautiful artwork display.

Upgraded 4-series

Amazon has also announced a refresh of its 4-series Fire TVs, which now come with an ultra-slim bezel that fades into the background so your content is front and center. As always, this line will continue to offer Ultra-High-Definition 4K resolution with supported content. Take a look at the newly redesigned 4-series Fire TVs below!

Fire TV Soundbar Plus

Finally, Amazon is unveiling a new model of soundbar dubbed the Fire TV Soundbar Plus. Measuring 37 inches in length, the Soundbar Plus is a 3.1-channel all-in-one soundbar with support for Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and DTS TruVolume. It comes with a Dialogue Enhancer setting and a wide frequency range to ensure fantastic audio clarity, deep bass, and the best possible sound quality. It offers four distinct listing modes: Movie, Music, Sports, and Night.

Amazon Fire TV is a streaming device that can be used to watch Live TV Streaming Services and On Demand Streaming Services.
