Apple TV+ Will Be Available on Prime Video Later This Month
The Apple streaming service will be added to the Prime Video subscriptions section later this month.
One of the reasons that Prime Video is such a useful platform for cord-cutters is that it not only allows you to watch its original and licensed content via subscription, but it also lets you add subscriptions to other streaming services, often at a discount. Streamers like AMC+, Max, Paramount+, and STARZ are all available on Prime Video, and soon they will welcome another streamer to a potential bundle. Starting later this month, Apple TV+ will join Prime Video’s lineup of available services.

Prime Video head Mike Hopkins announced the deal at the Bloomberg Screentime Conference late Wednesday saying that Apple TV+ would be made available as an extra subscription within Prime Video later this month.
“Prime Video is a first-stop entertainment destination offering a wide selection of premium programming including Amazon MGM Studios Originals, live sports, licensed movies and series, the industry’s largest catalog of titles to rent or buy, and over 100 additional streaming subscriptions,” Hopkins said. “As we continue to expand our offering and make it easy for customers to personalize their streaming experience directly in one app, we are proud to welcome Apple TV+ and its popular and critically-acclaimed shows, films and events to Prime Video.”
As with other add-on subscriptions offered by Prime Video, viewers will soon be able to stream Apple TV+ originals like “Ted Lasso” and “Slow Horses” as well as manage their bill all through the Prime Video app. Apple TV+ also features live sports programming in the form of “Friday Night Baseball” during MLB regular season.
“We want to make Apple TV+ and its award-winning library of series and films from the world’s greatest storytellers available to as many viewers as possible,” Apple’s SVP of Services Eddy Cue said. “We’re thrilled that Prime Video will now offer Apple TV+, giving viewers an incredible breadth of viewing options.”
Currently, Apple TV+ offers just one subscription option: its ad-free plan for $10 per month after a seven-day free trial. That could change in the near future; over the summer, Apple began making moves that seemed to indicate it would be launching an ad-supported plan sometime in the near future.

Apple TV+ is a subscription video streaming service for $9.99 a month that includes high-quality original shows and movies including Best Picture winner “CODA,” popular sitcom “Ted Lasso,” and dramas like “The Morning Show” and “Severance.” Apple TV+ is also home to MLB baseball games on Friday nights and MLS Season Pass.
