MyFree DIRECTV is still a relatively new streaming service, but it fits neatly into the category of up-and-coming streamers. The service has an ever-expanding list of free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channels to watch, as well as a good selection of on-demand content.

Viewers might be worried that MyFree DIRECTV doesn’t have a robust selection of non-English language dubs for its on-demand shows, given that it’s so new. We took a look at whether or not that’s the case, and we’ll share our findings below.

What languages are available on MyFree DIRECTV?

Does MyFree DIRECTV have any non-English dubs available?

The audio accessibility options on MyFree DIRECTV are still a work in progress. I looked at 10 different titles on the streamer, and didn’t see that any had language dubs in options other than English. Furthermore, MyFree DIRECTV doesn’t appear to have any Spanish-language FAST channels or any way to watch content that isn’t in English at the moment.

While this may be disappointing to some viewers, it’s important to note that MyFree DIRECTV is, as the name suggests, a free streaming service. These normally lack all the features that can be found on paid services, and MyFree DIRECTV is still building out its content library.

Does DIRECTV offer non-English content?

Yes, it does! DIRECTV offers more than 60 Spanish-language channels in its MiEspañol Genre Pack, which costs just $35 per month. This plan also comes with a free subscription to Vix Premium, and offers news, sports, and entertainment options. DIRECTV’s Signature channel packages also come with more global content, including Spanish-language channels and other selections.

Will MyFree DIRECTV add more audio accessibility choices in the future?

It’s possible, but since MyFree DIRECTV is a free streamer, I doubt that it will add all the language dubs available on paid streaming services like Netflix. It’s more likely that the service will import Spanish-language FAST channels, or shows and movies that originally appear in languages besides English.
