Cooking competition shows are available in spades with this streaming bundle for $28 per month,

Cooking competition shows are packed with unscripted drama, dynamite flavors, and often colorful or downright bombastic judges who can tear even the most delicate-looking dishes to shreds. Cooking competition shows are some of the most popular unscripted series on TV, and we think it’d be a downright crime to pay Michelin-star prices to watch a good selection of them.

That’s why we’ve put together this bundle of four streaming services that will let you watch some of the best unscripted cooking shows on TV for less than $30 per month. Check out what we found!

What’s the best budget streaming bundle for watching cooking competition shows?

Max

Max is packed with favorites from the Food Network, including “Beat Bobby Flay,” ” Guy's Grocery Games,” “Iron Chef America,” “Kids Baking Championship” and many more — far too many to list them all here. There’s plenty of other culinary content on Max when you’re done with the competition shows — oh, and the HBO library too.

You can sign up for Max starting at $10 for its ad-supported plan. You won’t get live sports with this subscription, but you will get all the goodies you can find from the Food Network with an ad-supported Max plan.

Cost of Max with Ads: $10 per month

Hulu

If you’re looking for something a little louder when it comes to cooking competition, Hulu will have you covered. A subscription will get you titles such as “Celebrity Best Home Cook,” “Chopped,” “Cutthroat Kitchen,” “Hell's Kitchen,” “Master Chef,” and a lot of others. Like Max, Hulu also has a wide range of other cooking-related shows to enjoy in its library.

Although Hulu is available as part of the Disney Bundle, you can watch it as a standalone service as well, starting at $10 per month. That’s the price for the ad plan, which we’re using to keep the price of this bundle lower. If you want Disney+ as well, you can actually bundle it with Hulu and Max starting at $17 per month — though you won’t get many cooking shows with that streamer.

Cost of Hulu with Ads: $10 per month

Netflix

The final paid streamer in this bundle is Netflix. You may not think of it as the top streamer for cooking competition shows, but there are many available, such as “Barbecue Showdown,” “Easy-Bake Battle,” “The Final Table,” “The Great British Baking Show,” “School of Chocolate,” and a substantial selection of similar titles to arouse your appetite.

You can watch Netflix starting at $8 per month, which gets you the Standard with Ads plan. It’s important to keep in mind that you may get one or two titles fewer with this plan, but you’ll still be pleasantly surprised with how many cooking competition shows Netflix carries.

Cost of Netflix Standard with Ads: $8 per month

Roku Channel

Lastly comes The Roku Channel, and even though it’s a free streaming service, you’ll find some lovely cooking competition shows there. Start with “The Great American Baking Show,” which is a Roku Channel original. “Morimoto's Sushi Master” is also found there, alongside “Celebrity Family Food Battle,” and “Best Bite Wins.”

These titles are available to stream free on demand, and The Roku Channel brings access to a host of other food-related shows and movies. Just sign up with an email address and password and stream to your heart’s content. You will have to watch all content with ads, but aside from that, there’s no downside to The Roku Channel’s selection.
