These are the best Christmas movies you can stream on Max

You’ll find some big hits on Max, but not enough to justify picking up the streamer just for the holidays.

While Max has some great programming year-round, the selection of Christmas movies is a bit limited, but there are some absolute holiday gems mixed in with the blockbuster movies, prestige TV, and unscripted shows that you will traditionally find on the platform. Max is the home to classics like “The Polar Express,” “Elf,” and “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation,” but there’s not a ton of variety beyond this handful of hits; except for “Gremilins” which I’m throwing in for the crowd that considers “Die Hard” a Christmas movie.

While Max might not be the best streamer if you are looking to sign up for a new service specifically for Christmas magic, you will find some holiday staples. That being said, if you’re already a Max subscriber, there are certainly titles that will help keep your season merry and bright. Check out the short list of what’s available below.

If you’re looking for even more holiday content, be sure to check out the best Christmas movies on other streaming platforms as well!
