In four short weeks, 2026 will be halfway over. Traditionally, the summer months were considered a time of rest and recovery for TV production crews ahead of the busy fall and winter seasons. But thanks in no small part to streamers, June is now just as important as September when it comes to major TV releases.
DIRECTV’s MyEntertainment Genre Pack will offer many of these top releases. MyEntertainment includes 60+ channels, as well as access to the on-demand libraries of Disney+, Hulu, and HBO Max, so what are the best premieres headed to the streamer during the month? We’ll explain everything you need to know below!

‘Interview with the Vampire’ Season 3 | June 7 on AMC
Things get rolling early in June, as AMC’s third season of “Interview with the Vampire.” Things will be a little different on the show this season, as the focus shifts to the charismatic rock-star vampire Lestat de Lioncourt.
Get an extended look at ‘The Vampire Lestat’
Resentful of his presentation in Daniel Molloy’s book, Lestat decides to become a goth rock god and go on tour to set the record straight. The season will follow Lestat as he trots the world with his band, as well as explore his 18th-century French origins.
‘Below Deck Mediterranean’ Season 11 | June 8 on Bravo
What’s summer without a little indulgent fun? Fans of “Below Deck Mediterranean” certainly don’t need to be convinced, and the show’s 11th season promises sun, sand, and plenty of drama between crew members as they try to fulfill the demands of their uncompromising guests.
Set sail for the seas of Croatia under the watchful eye of Captain Sandy Yawn. With a new yacht and new crew members to meet, there’s a ton of uncertainty heading into the season. Will the boat be up to the customers’ specifications? How will the new crew mix with returning members? It’s almost time to find out!
‘Most Extreme Humans’ series premiere | June 10 on TLC
Having a persistent cough or a little extra hair growing from your ears can be annoying, but it’s hardly life-altering. In “Most Extreme Humans,” however, viewers will get to meet people from around the world with some of the rarest and most remarkable physical conditions known to medical science.
From a Filipino man whose hands have grown so large he wears wristwatches as rings, to Brazil, where the world’s smallest married couple have a combined height under six feet, to a 19-year-old in India living with the ultra-rare condition known as “werewolf syndrome.” Viewers will get more insight into the lives of those forced to live with these unique characteristics and see the world through the lens of someone who doesn’t often fit in.
‘House of the Dragon’ Season 3 | June 21 on HBO Max
Since DIRECTV’s MyEntertainment includes a subscription to HBO Max in addition to its robust channel package, there doesn’t seem to be any sense in excluding the streamer’s most-anticipated release of the summer in “House of the Dragon” Season 3.
Watch the trailer for ‘House of the Dragon’ Season 3
The show will continue the on-screen saga of the Dance of Dragons, a civil war between Targaryens that will wrap all of Westeros in devastation this season. Fan reception of “House of the Dragon” has fluctuated over its first two seasons, so it will definitely bear watching to see if this season can stick the landing in the eyes of loyal viewers.
‘The Bear’ Season 5 | June 25 on Hulu and Disney+
The fifth and final season of one of my favorite shows from the past half-decade is arriving at the end of the month. “The Bear” Season 5 will center on Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto’s attempts to heal himself from the years of trauma that his training in fine dining has caused.
The show will also focus on Sydney and Ritchie’s attempts to keep the restaurant that Carmy poured his heart and soul into running strong — a task that may be a bit more difficult to accomplish as Ritchie recovers from a serious auto accident. Will The Bear become a Chicago mainstay? Will Carmy put his demons in the past and really live? I can’t wait to find out.
