‘The Summit’

CBS is dropping a new reality show later this month called “The Summit,” hosted by Manu Bennett. With their backpacks containing an equal share of $1 million, the group must get there in just 14 days in order to win the cash they are carrying. But not everyone will make it, as these strangers must work together to tackle the terrain, and a “Mountain’s Keeper” who will surprise the trekkers with brutal twists and force decisions that complicate an already grueling ascent. The sneak peek for “The Summit” airs on Sunday, Sept. 29, at 9 p.m. on CBS before it begins airing regularly on Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 9:30 p.m. ET.

Fall is in the air, which means a new season of “Halloween Baking Championship” is here. Season 10 had its premiere on Monday, Sept. 16, with new episodes dropping weekly on Food Network. This season takes place in Henson Laboratories, where bakers face eerie challenges like making broken glass desserts and bubbling treats. Hosted by John Henson, the show features returning judges Carla Hall, Zac Young, and Stephanie Boswell. And for the first time ever, contestants can earn immunity in the early rounds.
