Paramount+ to Broadcast Live Serie A Italian League Soccer, Inaugural Concacaf Women’s Champions Cup
With live sports quickly becoming the prime jewel for both traditional broadcast networks and streamers, it’s no surprise Paramount is expanding its soccer programming. Paramount will carry the first Serie A – Italy’s top soccer league – match on broadcast TV on Aug. 17 when Parma faces AC Milan on CBS and Paramount+. Paramount also announced it is the exclusive U.S. English-language rights holder for the inaugural Concacaf Women’s Champions Cup – a key tournament that is the only way for Concacaf clubs to qualify for the new FIFA Women’s Club World Cup.

The tournament will feature ten of the best women’s soccer clubs from across the Concacaf region, including powerhouse teams from the National Women’s Soccer League like NJ/NY Gotham FC, Portland Thorns FC, and San Diego Wave FC. The tournament won’t just crown a regional champion - it’s also the only pathway for these clubs to qualify for the FIFA Women’s Club World Cup. The action kicks off on Saturday, Aug. 20 with the group stage, with the Finals set for May 2025.
