DAZN is launching the new NFL Travel Pass extension of NFL Game Pass for American audiences.

NFL fans from the United States have hitherto been faced with a series of options when trying to watch football while traveling, from using a VPN to change their location to more complicated solutions. The sports streaming service DAZN wants to help simplify matters and announced on Tuesday that it was launching a new product called NFL Travel Pass, which will allow American fans to watch live games and more via NFL Game Pass when traveling to areas where DAZN holds NFL rights.

Key Details:

  • NFL Travel Pass is an extension of the NFL Game Pass service.
  • Travel Pass costs $18 per week or $180 per season.
  • Fans will be able to stream every game with no blackouts in most countries where DAZN is available.
The Cowboys and all other NFL teams are available on NFL Travel Pass, and most countries have no blackout restrictions.

DAZN’s new NFL Travel Pass product is an outgrowth of the NFL Game Pass, which allows fans in Europe and other territories to stream live NFL games. It works a lot like NFL+ and NFL Sunday Ticket do in the United States but with fewer restrictions. Game Pass can no longer be used to watch live games stateside, but abroad it’s a crucial service for NFL fans to have.

Travel Pass will give American customers access to that service while they are seeing the sights or traveling on business. A subscription will cost $18 per week or $180 per season, and viewers will have to purchase their Game Pass subscription in the United States before leaving the country in order to get access to Travel Pass.

“This is huge news for US-based NFL fans who travel and do not want to miss a moment of the unmissable NFL action,” DAZN CEO Shay Segev said. “While DAZN is focused on growing the international reach of the NFL, we also want to ensure that its domestic fan base doesn’t miss out while abroad. That is why we’ve launched the NFL Travel Pass. We want all sports fans wherever they are in the world to access their sport, their way, as DAZN becomes the preeminent sports entertainment destination for fans globally.”

NFL Game Pass brings live NFL games to more than 200 countries around the world, so Americans using Travel Pass will have a wide range of destinations where they can use the service; the United Kingdom and Ireland are the only territories subject to blackout rules. In addition to live games, viewers will be able to stream NFL Network and NFL RedZone with a subscription, watch highlights and replays, and more.

If you’re an American football fan who travels a lot, head to DAZN to see if the NFL Travel Pass is right for you. The service was designed to help you stream your favorite team from hundreds of different countries around the world live on various devices.
