DAZN to become exclusive distributor of FIFA+
The soccer streamer offers thousands of FIFA-related events, including exclusive content.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup is now just days away, but that isn’t distracting the global governing body of football from making new business moves. FIFA is once again partnering with the sports streaming service DAZN, having chosen the streamer as the exclusive distribution partner for its streamer FIFA+.
Key Details:
- Major score: DAZN is now the exclusive distributor of FIFA+.
- Multiple options: FIFA+ offers both paid and free plans, and offers thousands of live games.
- Building collaboration: FIFA and DAZN also partnered to stream the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
FIFA’s deal with DAZN means the sports streamer is now the exclusive destination to sign up for FIFA+. Viewers will not need to have a DAZN subscription to access FIFA+, and both the paid and free tiers of the service will continue to be available through DAZN.
Viewers will be able to use a FIFA+ subscription to watch 8,500 live matches from 100 FIFA Member Associations, as well as original programming, archival content, and more. Viewers will want to note that a FIFA+ subscription does not allow them to watch any live games from the 2026 FIFA World Cup; these games will be played on Fox Sports platforms in English and on Peacock in Spanish.
Fans will be able to watch the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Poland, the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco, the FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar, and the FIFA Intercontinental Cup in certain territories with FIFA+ on DAZN. Archival content from past Men’s and Women’s World Cups will also be available.
“The integration of FIFA+ into DAZN represents a key milestone in our ambition to make football truly global and accessible,” FIFA secretary general Mattias Grafström said. “Following the successful collaboration at the FIFA Club World Cup 2025, we are now taking the next steps in building the Global Home of Football, bringing together competitions, content, and storytelling on a single platform while creating new opportunities for our FIFA Member Associations to grow their audiences worldwide.”
The launch of FIFA+ on DAZN marks just the latest collaboration of the two sides. Last year, DAZN streamed all games from the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup at no cost to viewers. It’s all part of DAZN’s efforts to transform itself into the Global Home of Football, as it says.
“Bringing FIFA+ to DAZN reflects our strong partnership with FIFA and our shared ambition to grow football’s reach and cultural impact around the world,” DAZN Group CEO Shay Segev said. “With our global footprint, innovative technology, and powerful marketing engine, DAZN will enable FIFA+ content to reach hundreds of millions of sports fans worldwide.”
