Everything you need to know about ‘Hazbin Hotel’ Season 2
When does ‘Hazbin Hotel’ Season 2 premiere?
“Hazbin Hotel” will premiere on Prime Video on Oct. 29. The season will have eight episodes in total, and two episodes per week will premiere on the streamer through Nov. 19.
What happened in Season 1 of ‘Hazbin Hotel’?
“Hazbin Hotel” Season 1 centers on Charlie Morningstar, the daughter of Lucifer. Charlie is saddened by the yearly extermination of sinners forced by Hell’s overpopulation, and cooks up a scheme to rehabilitate souls for transfer to Heaven instead. She opens the Hazbin Hotel with support from her partner Vaggie, but most of the residents of Hell don’t think her plan has much of a chance.
Charlie does attract the attention of Heaven; however, Adam doesn’t think much of her plan to send souls back to Heaven, and moves up the next round of exterminations to punish Hell’s impertinence. At the end of the season, a climactic final battle sees the hotel destroyed, but also witnesses the death of Adam.
Fans also learn at the end of Season 1 that Sir Pentious, a guest at the Hazbin Hotel, redeemed himself and ascended to Heaven — proving that Charlie’s seemingly idealistic plan can actually work.
What will happen in Season 2 of ‘Hazbin Hotel’?
“Hazbin Hotel” will see the villain Vox take center stage in his attempts to turn the denizens of Hell against Charlie and her schemes. The hotel is not only open, it’s more popular than ever, and Charlie will face more challenges in success than she did in failure — especially with the fallout from a war with Heaven.
Alastor continues to move in the shadows, and the role of Charlie’s mother, Lilith — who lives in Heaven, but is instructed to return to Hell to put an end to her daughter’s plans — will (hopefully) be made clear by season’s end. All that, plus even more songs than the first seaso,n are on the way in “Hazbin Hotel” Season 2!
