Trevor Bayne will join from pitroad, and reporters Kim Coon and Marty Snyder will provide updates on drivers in real time, such as tactical decisions, car and driver status, and other developments.
Danielle Trotta will serve as host for Prime Video’s pre and post-race coverage trackside, alongside analysts Carl Edwards and current Cup Series driver Cory LaJoie.
What features will Prime Video’s NASCAR coverage offer?
Prime Video is no stranger to live sporting events nowadays, and will offer a double-box commercial format that will allow viewers to watch races uninterrupted. The race stream will continue in one box during ad breaks, while commercials play simultaneously in the other box.
Viewers will also be able to pull from a bank of key moments during the race, which will pull up lead changes, yellow flags, and other pivotal moments in a given race so that viewers can catch up with the action on the track instantly.
Rapid Recap will be perfect for those who join a race already in progress. Using real-time data, Rapid Recap will show late joiners a recap no longer than two minutes, which shows all the biggest highlights of the race so far.
In addition, Prime Video will place more than 70 cameras around the track for each race, including in-car and POV cameras with microphones. A drone will also be deployed in select races to get even more unique camera angles.
Will NASCAR on Prime Video come with its own theme song?
Yes! Prime Video has teamed with country superstar Eric Church and rock icon John Fogerty for a reimagined song titled “Up Around The Bend,” which will help capture the excitement of race day.
Is there an alternate stream of NASCAR on Prime Video?
As “Thursday Night Football” fans already know, Prime Video offers an analytics-focused alternate stream of each football game called Prime Vision. It doesn’t appear this will be available for NASCAR races on Prime Video this season, but it’s a good bet the streamer will carry some sort of alternate broadcast of NASCAR events in the years to come.

If you’re new to Prime Video, you’ll be able to watch a large selection of the races on the streamer with a 30-day free trial. When you sign up for Amazon Prime, you get a 30-day trial as a new customer. Prime Video is a benefit included in the Prime membership, so you’ll be able to watch all races in that 30-day span at no cost.
