Will Season 3 be the final season for ‘The Summer I Turned Pretty’?
Sadly, it will be. The 11-episode season will wrap up Belly’s story. For fans of the show and the books that it is based on, this likely won’t come as a surprise. Han’s novels made up a trilogy, so wrapping up the small screen adaptation after three seasons has always felt like the logical move. However, in the streaming world, you can never be 100% positive that a popular show won’t spawn a spin-off or two.

What happened in Season 2 of ‘The Summer I Turned Pretty’?
“The Summer I Turned Pretty” Season 2 was focused on the growing love triangle between Belly, Conrad, and Jeremiah. Set against the backdrop of a sale of the summer house loved by the Fisher family, but seemingly doomed to be sold after the tragic passing of Susannah Fisher.
As the sale process moves forward, Belly and her friends become increasingly desperate for a way to stop the house from changing hands. They ultimately succeed with an assist from Laurel, and Belly seemingly makes her choice between the Fisher brothers, driving off with Jeremiah and leaving a devastated Conrad behind.
What will happen in Season 3 of ‘The Summer I Turned Pretty’?
There haven’t been a large number of plot details for Season 3 unveiled so far, but it’s likely the love triangle between Conrad, Jeremiah, and Belly isn’t quite over yet. The show will also continue to focus on the ever-evolving relationship between mothers and their children, and the enduring power of strong female friendship.
However, if you want to know even more details and don’t mind spoilers, you could always read the final novel in the trilogy, “We’ll Always Have Summer.”
Who will star in ‘The Summer I Turned Pretty’ Season 3?
An official cast list of Season 3 hasn’t been revealed just yet, but it’s safe to assume that many of the principle characters from Season 2 will return.
That means fans can expect to see Lola Tung as Isabel “Belly” Conklin, Christopher Briney as Conrad Fisher, Gavin Casalegno as Jeremiah Fisher, Jackie Chung as Laurel Park, and Sean Kaufman as Steven Conklin in the new batch of episodes.
