The live streamer is bringing even more value to its skinny bundles as they continue to offer more curated streaming options at lower costs.
DIRECTV is continuing to bulk up its Genre Packs, adding three new streaming services across its entertainment, movie, and Spanish-language bundles. As the industry forerunner in the race to offer more finely tailored channel offerings, DIRECTV has been refining its skinny bundle options since launching in February 2025. The latest additions will see prestige TV streaming service AMC+ join the MyEntertainment pack, with horror streamer Shudder being added to MyCinema, and Spanish-language soccer (or football, if you prefer) platform Fanatiz joining the MiEspañol pack.

These trimmed-down channel offerings have become an important part not only of DIRECTV’s offerings but for nearly every live TV streaming service as well. In addition to giving consumers the chance to save money by not having to pay for the larger cable-like packages, they allow cord-cutters to focus specifically on the types of content that matter most to them. By layering in on-demand streaming services as part of the packages, the value increases for both the customer and distributor.
The biggest addition for most customers is AMC+, which is now included in MyEntertainment. The pack already combines more than 60 live channels with access to Disney+, Hulu, and HBO Max, making it one of the more interesting live TV bundles on the market. With AMC+ now part of the lineup, DIRECTV notes that if you signed up for all of the streamers outside of the MyEntertainment pack, they would cost $30 monthly. MyEntertainment currently runs just $35 per month, making it an incredibly solid deal for general entertainment fans.
That gives subscribers access to AMC+ originals and library titles from AMC, BBC America, IFC, and SundanceTV, including shows like “Dark Winds,” “Interview with the Vampire,” “The Walking Dead: Dead City,” “Mad Men,” and more. AMC+ also includes access to Shudder, which makes the MyEntertainment addition especially useful for viewers who want premium cable-style originals and niche streaming content in the same package.
However, horror fans who want a more focused option can now get Shudder through MyCinema, DIRECTV’s movie-focused Mini Pack. MyCinema can be added to MyGenre Packs MyEntertainment, MyNews, MySports, or MyKids for just $10 per month. Shudder brings with it a curated mix of horror movies, supernatural thrillers, cult favorites, and exclusive original programming.
DIRECTV is also adding Fanatiz to MiEspañol. The streamer’s Spanish-language Genre Pack costs $35 monthly and already has more than 60 channels across entertainment, news, and sports. Fanatiz is especially notable for soccer fans, offering access to international leagues, live and on-demand matches, replays, highlights, and coverage of South American competitions. DIRECTV says Fanatiz is also available in its ÓPTIMO MÁS and MAS ULTRA packages.
The additions continue DIRECTV’s push to make its Genre Packs feel less like skinny bundles and more like curated streaming-and-live-TV packages built around specific viewing habits.
