When DIRECTV signed its first-of-its-kind carriage agreement with Disney last fall, the satellite and streaming company promised that it would soon launch content-specific channel packages to cater to the individual needs and interests of cord-cutters. In January, DIRECTV introduced its first such skinny bundle, DIRECTV MySports(beta). Now, the package is adding NBC affiliates in 140 of the top markets across the country.

Key Details:

• DIRECTV MySports(beta) has added 140 NBC affiliates from many of the biggest markets in America.
• Earlier this month, the skinny bundle added all 187 Fox affiliates across the country.
• Save $20 on your first three months of service when you sign up before the end of February.

Earlier this month, DIRECTV MySports(beta) added Fox affiliates in 187 markets across the country, just days before the Super Bowl. Now, the sports-focused channel package has done the same thing with local NBC stations as the English Premier League and college basketball seasons head into the home stretch.

DIRECTV MySports(beta) subscribers in 140 markets across the country now have access to their local NBC affiliate. All of those channels are in the 207 markets in the country, meaning that a vast majority of the United States will have access to NBC’s national programming as well as their local news, sports, and more.

With the additions of Fox and NBC affiliates, DIRECTV is strengthening its first-of-its-kind streaming bundle. DIRECTV MySports(beta) will cost fans $70 per month, but if you sign up before Feb. 27, you will be able to save $20 per month for your first three months of service giving you even better value and access to live sports coverage.
