ESPN adding more college football to Disney+
The best games of the regular season are staying on ESPN, but Disney+ is getting an influx of college football contests nonetheless.
Disney+ has slowly been augmenting the amount of live sports it streams on its app. The streamer has offered marquee NFL and NBA games from ESPN in the past, as well as a selection of college sports. College football fans will have much more to watch with a Disney+ subscription this fall; the streamer will offer multiple games per week for all Disney+ subscribers.
Key Details:
- Double trouble: ESPN will stream two games per week on Disney+ throughout the college football season.
- It’s back!: “College GameDay” is returning to Disney+ for the season, as well.
- Not the best: ESPN’s most popular matchups will remain on its own platforms.

Disney+ subscribers in the United States will be able to stream two college football games from ABC and/or ESPN each week of the 2026 season. The games will be available to all Disney+ subscribers, including ad-supported Basic customers who do not bundle their service with ESPN Select or ESPN Unlimited.
The first available game will be the clash between the North Carolina Tar Heels and the TCU Horned Frogs on Saturday, Aug. 29. Games have been announced through Sept. 19, with remaining games of the season to be determined on a weekly basis.

Viewers can bundle ESPN Unlimited with Disney+ and Hulu starting at $36 per month to unlock the full slate of college football games on ABC and ESPN channels each week.
Viewers will be able to watch “College GameDay” on Disney+ each week of the college football season once again in 2026. The stream will start at 9 a.m. ET on Saturday mornings, beginning Sept. 5. It’s the second year that viewers will find “College GameDay” on Disney+.
