Everything you need to know about ‘The Night Agent’ Season 2

Is there a trailer for ‘The Night Agent’ Season 2?

When does Season 2 of ‘The Night Agent’ come out?

“The Night Agent” will drop its new episodes on Jan. 23, 2025.

Will Season 2 of ‘The Night Agent’ be a binge release?

As with the first season of “The Night Agent,” as well as most other Netflix shows, we expect Season 2 of the show to release all episodes at once.

What happened in Season 1 of ‘The Night Agent’?

“The Night Agent” follows the tale of Peter Sutherland, who dreams of joining the Night Action program. It’s an off-the-books service that answers directly to the president and is tasked with investigating incidents that the CIA and FBI can’t crack.

In Season 1, Sutherland was forced to uncover a terrorist conspiracy targeting President Michelle Travers from inside the White House itself. As a reward, Sutherland gets a promotion within the organization, but he’ll have to grapple with a deadly and dangerous world in Season 2.

What will Season 2 of ‘The Night Agent’ be about?

Now that he’s an official member of Night Action, Sutherland will be the one making the calls from now on. That leaves him with a huge amount of responsibility, as now he’s saddled with the task of protecting American interests the best ways he knows how. As he’s initiated as a night agent, however, he’ll find that goal is harder than ever to achieve.

Who will star in Season 2 of ‘The Night Agent’?

Gabriel Basso returns as Peter Sutherland in Season 2 of “The Night Agent,” and Luciane Buchanan is also back to reprise her role as his love interest, former tech CEO Rose Larkin.

Amanda Warren will join them in Season 2 as Catherine, a veteran of Night Action who oversees new night agents. Arienne Mandi will also join the cast as Noor, an aide in the Iranian mission to the United Nations who wants to better her position.

Louis Herthum will play Jacob Monroe, an international businessman with many global connections; Berto Colon will portray former Marine and current fixer Solomon; Michael Malarky will play Markus, a military leader loyal to his dictator uncle; and Keon Alexander will portray Javad, head of Iranian security for the UN mission.

Brittany Snow plays Peter’s new partner and mentor Alice; Teddy Sears will play an intelligence officer who becomes the target of a Night Action investigation; Navid Negahban will portray Abbas, the Iranian ambassador; while Rob Heaps plays Tomás Bala, an ambitious man who wants to come back to his family.

Other actors include Marwan Kenzari as Sami, a decorated soldier, court-martialed for another man’s crime, who’s given the opportunity to be a Night Agent. Fiercely intelligent, with a wry sense of humor and a trigger temper, he doesn’t hesitate to become violent or lethal when backed into a corner; Elise Kibler as Sloane, Tomás’ smart, savvy, and glamorous British socialite girlfriend, who knows how toxic Tomás’ family is and tries to convince him to break ties with them; and Dikran Tulaine as Viktor Bala, a smart, dangerous, and manipulative man who was once the leader of his country, but has since been convicted of war crimes.

Can you watch ‘The Night Agent’ Season 2 for free?

Alas, no. The show is only coming out on Netflix, which does not offer any kind of free trial for new customers.

Will there be a Season 3 of ‘The Night Agent’?

Yes! Netflix has already renewed the show for a third season, so if Season 2 ends with a cliffhanger, you can be sure it’ll be back for another batch of episodes.
