What will ‘Happy Gilmore 2’ be about?
The original “Happy Gilmore” followed the titular character’s attempts to transform into a professional hockey player. While he was never really NHL material, Happy is discovered by a former pro golfer who thinks his skills will translate to the golf course. To keep his grandmother from losing her house, Happy takes on the arrogant PGA star Shooter McGavin at a tournament, all while courting the beautiful public relations director, Virginia Venit.
Happy, Shooter, and Virginia are all back for “Happy Gilmore 2,” though Netflix keeps its plot details tightly under wraps for now. We do know Happy will return to the golf course with his signature swing, though he’s feeling a little self-conscious about sharing the course with some of the PGA Tour’s best players.
Who stars in ‘Happy Gilmore 2’?
As mentioned, much of the main cast of “Happy Gilmore” is returning. Adam Sandler, Julie Bowen, and Christopher McDonald are back as Happy, Virginia, and Shooter McGavin, respectively. Ben Stiller is also returning as Hal L., and Bad Bunny will play Happy’s caddie.
