Everything you need to know about Fox One
When will Fox One launch?
Fox One is officially live now, just a few days before the start of the 2025-26 college football season and a couple of weeks before NFL games get underway
What will Fox One cost?
Fox One will cost $20 per month, which is on the lower end of where analysts had expected the price to land. At launch, the streamer will also have an annual subscription, which will cost $200 per year.
What will be available to stream on Fox One?
Fox CEO Lachlan Murdoch promised that Fox One would be a “holistic” product, which offered everything from the company’s most popular brands. That will include programming from the Fox News cable channel, as well as Fox Sports content. Company CEO Lachlan Murdoch said that it will be “a truly innovative digital offering.”
That means viewers will likely be able to stream nearly everything found on the Fox News channel, as well as Fox Sports options sourced from Fox, FS1, and [Fox Sports 2]. This will include NFL games from Sunday afternoons, MLB regular season and playoff contests, college football games from the Big Ten, Big 12, and the Mountain West.
The streamer will also come with titles from Fox’s prime time broadcasts.
Does Fox have live streams of linear channels?
Yes, it will. At launch, Fox One will include Big Ten Network, Fox, Fox Business Network, FOX Deportes, Fox News, FS1, FS2, and FOX Weather, as well as local Fox affiliates, Fox Nation, and B1G+.
Will Fox One have a free trial?
Yes, Fox One will feature a seven-day free trial for any new customers.
Will Fox One be bundled with other services?
The new Fox streamer will also be available in a bundle with the company’s existing lifestyle streamer Fox Nation. The pair of services will be available for $25 per month or $240 with an annual subscription.
“We will be offering bundling opportunities that make sense to achieve our targeted objectives,” Murdoch said. The CEO did not expound on whether any prospective bundles could be created with competitors like Disney and Warner Bros.
Those three companies had previously planned to team up on a joint venture once known as Venu Sports, but legal challenges put an end to that. Distad was set to be that streamer’s CEO, so the groundwork is already in place for a potential partnership. Perhaps, this could be an opportunity for the sides to finally fulfill that possibility.
Will Fox One have any original content?
No, Fox One will not include any original content. Fox executives have explained that this decision is intended to keep viewers from leaving pay-TV packages that have Fox channels in favor of the new streamer.
Can Fox One subscriptions be shared?
Most streaming services are enacting regulations to keep viewers from sharing their accounts. The terms of service for Fox’s other streamer Fox Nation prohibit the sharing of passwords, and Fox One’s terms will likely do the same.
Will content on Fox One be available to stream in 4K?
Fox is one of the only broadcast TV channels in the United States that allows viewers to watch live in 4K. There will likely be 4K content available on Fox One as well, but that has not been confirmed by company officials quite yet.
