Frndly TV is adding the REELZ channel to all plans.

The live TV streaming service skinny bundle Frndly TV fills a particular niche within the greater virtual multi-channel video programming distributor (vMVPD) marketplace. The service offers just a few cable channels with a focus on entertainment programming, with many channels being family-friendly. With plans starting at just $8 per month, the Frndly lineup is expanding this week, as the service announced it was adding the REELZ channel to its programming options.

Key Details:

  • Reel good news: REELZ is coming to all Frndly TV plans.
  • Go on patrol: The centerpiece of the REELZ channel is the unscripted police show “On Patrol: Live.”
  • Try it free: Frndly TV comes with a seven-day free trial, and other audience-friendly features.

Frndly TV has rolled out REELZ on all of its streaming packages, each of which costs $12 per month or less. REELZ is currently available, so you don’t have to wait around for it to show up if you decide to subscribe to Frndly right away.

REELZ programming focuses on real lives, real stories, and everyday heroes — from shows following law enforcement officers and first responders in the line of duty to documentaries about the celebrities, musicians, and politicians who shape our culture and lives. The channel’s crown jewel is “On Patrol: Live,” a reality series that takes viewers to the streets with police officers around the United States.

“On Patrol: Live” was renewed for another 90 episodes in February, guaranteeing that REELZ has access to new content from the series until at least 2026. Other popular options on REELZ include “Cops” and “Jail,” but the channel has a wide range of programming other than true crime as well.

Frndly TV has a host of consumer-friendly features, as the name suggests. A seven-day free trial will allow new viewers to try out the streamer at no cost for a week, and Frndly also comes with unlimited Cloud DVR to allow audiences to record shows and movies with ease. There’s even more to enjoy on Frndly TV, so check out the streamer and start watching REELZ right away.
