Hallmark+ becomes available as a Fubo add-on subscription

Just in time for Christmas, Fubo customers can now add a Hallmark+ subscription to their account.

Fubo is now welcoming Hallmark+ as a new add-on subscription

Fubo is doing its best to make sure that it has products available for viewers of every stripe. The streamer recently made it possible for customers to sign up for add-on subscriptions without requiring them to subscribe to a base channel package. This week, it announced a new partnership with Hallmark+, which will let customers add that streamer to their subscription along with options like NBA TV, Paramount+ with SHOWTIME, and more.

Key Details:

  • Hallmark+ costs $8 per month.
  • The streamer carries a wide range of Christmas movies, favorites from the Hallmark Channel, originals, and more.
  • Like other on-demand services, customers can sign up for Hallmark+ without a base channel package.

Customers who want to add Hallmark+ through Fubo will still have to pay the $8-per-month subscription fee that comes along with the streamer. Once they do so, however, they’ll unlock the full Hallmark+ library and will be able to unlock free greeting cards and other benefits that come along with a subscription.

Once inside Hallmark+, fans will be able to stream a huge selection of the company’s popular Christmas movies, titles from Hallmark linear channels, and original series like “The Chicken Sisters,” and a lot more. Hallmark+ streams ad-free, and allows viewers to download content for offline viewing.

“Hallmark is a beloved brand with feel-good content that offers something for everyone,” Fubo SVP Todd Mathers said. “This is the perfect time of year to launch Hallmark+ for Fubo customers, and they can choose the optimal way to subscribe for them: as part of our subscription plans alongside Hallmark’s linear content or as a standalone package.”

As Mathers references, viewers can sign up for Hallmark+ whether or not they have a Fubo base package. Customers who don’t want cable channels through Fubo should still consider aggregating their streaming subscriptions through its platform since it will allow them to keep all their bills in one place instead of having four or five different charges subtracted from their accounts.

Fubo has made great strides in trying to be more flexible for subscribers lately. In early December, the service launched its Essential plan, the only Fubo offering that doesn’t require customers to pay an extra $15 regional sports network fee for the simple reason that it carries none of these channels, launched its Essential plan.

Fubo

Fubo is a live TV streaming service with about 90 top channels that start at $79.99 per month. This plan includes local channels, 19 of the top 35 cable channels, and regional sports networks (RSNs). In total, you should expect to pay about $94.99 per month, after adding in their RSN Fee. Fubo was previously known as “fuboTV.”

The streaming service does not carry channels from WarnerMedia-owned (CNN, TBS, and TNT), A+E (A&E, History Channel, and Lifetime), and AMC Networks (AMC, BBC America, and WE tv). So, in our experience, if you are looking to watch the NBA, which heavily plays on TBS and TNT, you may want to look at another live TV streaming provider.

But for other sports fans, especially those who want to stream local sports, Fubo is a great option in our opinion. They recently announced adding Bally Sports RSNs to their channel lineup and it is the least expensive option to get RSNs in many markets like Altitude, AT&T Sports, Fox Sports, Marquee, MSG, NBC Sports, and NESN. (Take a look at the full list of Fubo’s sports channels.)

Fubo also includes MLB Network, NBA TV, NFL Network, NFL RedZone , NHL Network, and beIN Sports (which is not available on most services). You can add Fox Soccer Plus as part of the International Sports Plus add-on for $7/month.

You can add the Fubo Extra ($8) to add ~38 channels including GSN.
