Blackout of NBC channels on Fubo finally ending
The two sides have reached a new agreement more than six months after NBC channels first disappeared from Fubo.
The nightmare is finally over for lovers of NBC, Bravo, Telemundo, Universo, and NBC Sports regional sports networks. These channels will soon be restored to Fubo, as the two sides have agreed to a new retransmission deal that will bring NBCUniversal programming back to Fubo’s airwaves for the first time in more than half a year.

The new retransmission agreement between Fubo and NBCU will allow customers to start streaming Telemundo and Universo again immediately. These two channels are the Spanish-language home of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, so bringing them back to Fubo first was a clear priority. Telemundo is available in English-language Fubo plans, as well as its Latino plan. Universo is in the Latino plan, the Latino Plus add-on, and the Extra add-on.
In the coming weeks, NBC and Bravo will return to Fubo as well, alongside the new NBC Sports Network channel that allows cable customers to watch events shown exclusively on Peacock. NBC Sports regional sports networks will also come back to Fubo in the next few weeks.

NBCU channels have been blacked out on Fubo since late 2025, when the two could not agree on fair compensation for their continued availability. Last month, we wrote that the absence of NBCU channels significantly lessened the value of Fubo, as customers had missed Super Bowl LX, the 2026 Winter Olympics, and other major events thanks to the blackout.
Now, we will have to reconsider that position. Viewers can now stream the 2026 FIFA World Cup on Fubo in Spanish, with other NBC channels due to return to the streamer in the coming weeks. The dispute forced Fubo customers to miss a great deal of NBCU programming, but that nightmare is finally at an end.
