We’ll show you how to switch from Sling Orange to Sling Blue, back to Sling Orange, and how to sign up for Sling Orange and Blue with this easy guide.
Sling TV is one of the most affordable choices in live TV streaming. Its base channel packages contain around 40 networks each for $46 per month, including popular channels like ESPN and Disney Channel in the Orange plan, and selections like Fox News, MSNBC, NFL Network, and FX in the Blue plan.
However, choosing just the Orange or Blue plan means you won’t get some of these networks. The good news is that Sling allows its customers to jump back and forth between channel lineups whenever they like, and I will show you just how easy it is to do below!

How to switch between Sling Orange and Sling Blue
So you subscribed to Sling’s Blue plan to watch live soccer on FS1, but now you want to watch a college basketball game on ESPN. The problem is, ESPN is on Sling’s Orange plan. Are you out of luck? The good news is, it’s fantastically easy to swap between Sling TV base channel packages.
Sling subscribers need only go to the Sling homepage, then navigate to the My Account page. Once you’re there, it’s a cinch to change your Sling channel package to suit your current TV needs.
Click the “Edit Subscription” button, then click “Select” next to the base channel package you want to switch to. This will allow you to swap from Sling Orange to Sling Blue with just a couple clicks of a button, unlocking all the entertainment, sports, and news channels you want to see on Sling.
Sling TV makes it easy to find the section that allows customers to switch between channel plans.
Once you’ve finished switching plans, you can scroll down to click the “Review” button and make sure all your changes look right. Then, simply follow on-screen instructions to finish changing plans.
You can also use this section to the Sling Orange and Blue plan, which combines the distinct channel offerings of both plans for a price of $61 per month. In addition, you can manage your subscription by purchasing channel add-on packs, premium streaming services like Max and Paramount+, and see all your other account details.
Is it free to switch channel plans on Sling TV?
Sling TV really does make an effort to be customer-friendly with its channel-switching abilities. There is no charge to switch between the Sling Orange and Sling Blue plans, which makes sense considering they both cost $46 per month. There is also no listed limit on how many times you can swap back and forth if you need to.
There is an additional cost associated with moving to Sling Orange and Blue, however. Since this plan costs $61 per month, viewers will see an extra $15 added to their monthly Sling TV bill if they choose to do this. It is, however, the only way to ensure you have access to all the channels in the Sling Orange and Blue packages simultaneously.
