How many ad-free plans does Prime Video offer?

Prime Video only offers a single ad-free option. It costs $12 per month to subscribe to on its own, or if you are a customer of the Amazon Prime service, your bill will increase to $18 per month. If you are charged annually for Prime, you will see an extra $3 per month charge from the service billed to your account every month.

How to upgrade to ad-free Prime Video

To upgrade to an ad-free Prime Video subscription, click here to log into your Prime Video account via the streamer’s website. Click Your Account in the drop-down menu that appears when hovering over the profile icon, then click Go Ad Free. Confirm your payment details, and click Start Subscription.

Are there extra benefits to going ad-free on Prime Video?

Many streaming services reserve extra benefits for more expensive ad-free plans, such as the ability to download TV shows and movies, or an upgrade to Ultra-High-Definition 4K quality on select titles. These features come with both plans of Prime Video; however, the only real extra you get by upgrading to an ad-free plan is an end to commercials during playback.
