See more about how to prevent the unauthorized use of your Paramount+ subscription here.
In an atmosphere where most streaming apps have moved to strictly police the use of login credentials by non-paying subscribers, Paramount+ still stands apart. Although the service’s policy technically forbids the sharing of such credentials, it has not taken as many steps to curtail password sharing as other services have.
However, if you suspect someone unauthorized is using your Paramount+ subscription, or just want to do a security reset of the service, keep reading! We’ll let you know how to manage the devices using your Paramount+ account here.
Everything you need to know about managing devices on Paramount+?
Can you see a list of the devices using your Paramount+?
No. At the moment, Paramount+ does not give subscribers the option to see a comprehensive list of the devices using their account or sign devices out individually. The only option available to manage devices on Paramount+ is to sign out of all devices simultaneously.
How to sign out of all Paramount+ devices at once
To sign out of all devices using your Paramount+ account simultaneously:
- Click here to log into the Paramount+ website.
- Choose your profile.
- Hover over the profile icon with your cursor, then click Account in the drop-down menu.
- Scroll down to Sign Out of All Devices.
- Check your email for instructions on signing back in.
What to do if your Paramount+ password is compromised
If you think your Paramount+ login information has been stolen or is otherwise being used without your consent, the best move is to reset the email address and password associated with your account as quickly as possible. To do so, go back into the account settings on the Paramount+ website, then click Edit next to the username and password options.
Does Paramount+ allow password sharing?
Paramount+ hasn’t begun enforcing any password-sharing restrictions formally, but its terms of service do forbid the practice. The streamer’s lax attitude about sharing could come to an end soon.
